HomeDesigns AI - API Terms of Service

Last Updated: January 7, 2026 These API Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the HomeDesigns AI application programming interface, software development kits, documentation, and the HomeDesigns Widget (collectively, the “API”). By accessing or using our API, you enter into a binding contract with HomeDesignsAI, Inc. (“HomeDesigns AI”, “we”, “us”).

1. License and Use of Services

• 1.1. Grant of License. Subject to your payment of applicable fees and compliance with these Terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-sublicensable, non-transferable, revocable license to integrate the API into your applications, websites, or services (“Application”) to provide end-users with AI-generated design features.

• 1.2. API Documentation. You must follow all guidelines and limits set forth in our technical documentation at homedesigns.ai/enterprise.

• 1.3. API Keys. You are responsible for all activities that occur using your API credentials. You must keep your API keys secure and may not share them with any third party.

2. Usage Restrictions

You shall not, and shall not permit others to:

• 2.1. Reverse Engineering. Attempt to bypass security, decompile, or discover the underlying algorithms, weights, or source code of our AI models.

• 2.2. Competitive Use. Use the API to build a product or service that competes directly with HomeDesigns AI's platform.

• 2.3. Scraping. Use any automated means to extract data or "scrape" images from our platform beyond what is provided by the intended API output.

• 2.4. Misrepresentation. State or imply that the Output from the API was human-generated or that HomeDesigns AI endorses your Application without prior written consent.

• 2.5. Harmful Content. Use the API to process images that contain illegal material, child exploitation, or content that violates third-party intellectual property or privacy rights.

3. Content and Intellectual Property

• 3.1. Input. You are responsible for the data, images, or text you send to the API (“Input”). You represent that you have all necessary rights to grant us a license to process this Input.

• 3.2. Output. HomeDesigns AI hereby assigns to you all its right, title, and interest in and to the images generated by the API based on your Input (“Output”). You may use the Output for any commercial purpose, provided you comply with these Terms.

• 3.3. Similarity of Output. Due to the nature of machine learning, Output may not be unique across users. Other users may provide similar Inputs and receive the same or similar Outputs.

• 3.4. Training. Unless you are on a specific "Enterprise Privacy" plan, you agree that we may use Inputs and Outputs to improve and train our AI models.

4. Fees, Billing, and Credits

• 4.1. Pricing. You agree to pay the fees associated with your API tier as described on homedesigns.ai/api.

• 4.2. Credits. The API operates on a credit-based system. Credits are non-refundable and expire according to the terms of your specific plan.

• 4.3. Late Payments. Failure to pay fees when due may result in immediate suspension of API access.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The API is provided "as is." Homedesigns AI makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, reliability, or architectural validity of the designs generated. The output should be used for inspirational purposes only and not as a substitute for professional architectural or engineering advice.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Homedesigns AI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these terms shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
